At One and Five Films, we combine a background in award-winning film production with over a decade of commercial experience. Director & Cinematographer
Steve holds a first-class degree in Film Production and brings extensive experience across film and television. Early in his career, he worked as an Assistant Director alongside leading UK filmmakers, including writer-director Mike Leigh on the Academy Award–nominated Another Year.
This background instilled a deep appreciation for nuance, visual storytelling, and capturing genuine, unscripted atmosphere on camera. In 2013, he co-founded his first film production brand, leading on cinematography and post-production across a wide range of narrative and commercial projects.
At One and Five Films, Steve oversees directing, camera, and editing. His work is defined by a cinematic, documentarian approach—focusing on character, light, and narrative detail to create short, compelling films that bring spaces, places, and brands to life.

Kate brings a strong background in production management, client relations, and strategic project planning. Having co-founded their first production brand alongside her partner, Steve, in 2013, she has years of experience delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest professional standards.
At One and Five Films, Kate leads on production planning, client communication, and logistics. She ensures every shoot runs seamlessly and unobtrusively; enabling a lightweight, low-impact crew to capture authentic moments without disrupting your guests, operations, or day-to-day business.
Kate is passionate about building collaborative relationships with brands, venues, and destinations, turning a client's vision into a smooth, rewarding production experience from initial brief to final delivery.
